Classes/Programs

                              

Whether you are seeking feedback to improve technique or if you are a beginning artist, you will benefit from Danny's informal and upbeat class.


Choose a class from 9-12, 1-4 or 6-9, Tuesdays only at the Cultural Council Gallery!

Master Classes are offered periodically by artists such as Jim Caulk and Jonathan Green.

Kelsey is our newest teacher. She teaches violin in our new Strings Matter Program for a group of 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders at Sampit Elementary School.

Want to learn techniques to help elevate your paintings? or Want to learn basic techniques? Need help finishing a current painting? Join us for an afternoon packed full of information and fun!!

Wendy shows you how to start a painting and how to finish a painting and the good stuff in between. Some of the techniques include design, composition, color theory, image transfer and much more! oils or acrylics or both!!... Lunch will be served! cost: $75.00 per person

Supply list: bring what you are used to!!
Paints suggested: ultramine blue, cerulean blue, lemon yellow, yellow ochre, aliz. crimson, transparent red oxide (any red, yellow, blue in a cool and warm color will do) add Asphaltum and titanium white

Brushes-bring 3-4 variety brushes med size, (filbert, flat, liner, bright) add 1" and/or 2" kitchen pastry brush "(the cheaper the better)

Rag (cut up t-shirt is best)!!!! (in addition to paper towels!")

Gloves if you don't want to get your hands messy!!

Mediums: odorless Turpenoid or Gamesol/ linseed oil/Liquin(which ever you normally use!! must be odorless!!...NO WALNUT OIL PLEASE!

Palette knife (2 or more md size)

Water color pencil

Ruler/straight edge

Magnifying glass (small from dollar store is ok)

References (bring several photos to choose one from,the larger the size photo the better)
canvas any size (16x20 or larger suggested)

Easel :if you don't have one let us know we will arrange one for you!
